Announcement about refunds

As we zero in on another Noosa Festival of Surfing, competitors are reminded to respect our policies and procedures around cancellations and refunds. If you are unable to compete for whatever reason, please respect that our event team is extremely busy entering the final weeks before the event to ensure those that are still attending receive the absolute best Festival experience possible. Aggressive behavior towards our event officials will not be tolerated and stern warnings will be put in place if people do NOT respect our cancellation and refund procedures.

Upon entering the Noosa Festival of Surfing, all competitors agreed to the Rules and Guidelines which can be found > HERE <

Our terms and conditions around refunds are as follows:

Cancellation & Refunds

Competitors who want to cancel their entry may do so with a full refund (excluding admin fee of $20 and Humanitix fee of $6 per entry). Cancellation must be made 30 days or more from the start of the event. 

If outside 14 days. Competitors will receive a 50% cancellation refund.

If within 14 days. Competitors will NOT receive a cancellation refund. Unless sufficient reasoning and evidence can be provided.

Competitors may transfer their entry to another competitor in the same division without charge.

Competitors entitled to a refund should expect to wait 10-14 business days for their refund to clear. We attempt to process your refunds as soon as possible, but due to the sheer amount of work involved with the running of this Festival, we expect you to be patient. Aggressive and threatening language towards our event team will NOT BE TOLERATED under any circumstances!
