WORLD CLASS LINEUP FOR 2026 FESTIVAL
Entries for the 2026 Noosa Festival of Surfing have been coming in strong since registrations opened in November. The Festival team couldn’t be more excited by the calibre of surfers committing to join us next March!
Early registrations are a powerful reflection of the passion, hard work and care that goes into delivering this event year after year. More importantly, they’re a reminder that the global surfing community sees what we’re building in Noosa and believes in it. Without the surfers, the Festival simply wouldn’t exist, and their continued support means everything.
Leading the charge in 2026 is 2025 World Longboard Champion Kai Ellice-Flint, returning to Noosa after a standout year on the world stage. His presence alone elevates the competition and adds to the anticipation surrounding the Festival’s marquee divisions.

Joining him from Hawaii is an impressive contingent headlined by Avalon Gall, whose smooth style and competitive edge have made her one of the most exciting longboarders to watch internationally. The Hawaiian surfers always bring a special energy to Noosa, reinforcing the Festival’s global reach and cultural depth.

On home soil, Australia’s talent runs deep. Nic Brewer, runner-up to Kai in the 2025 Logger Pro, is back and hungry, alongside crowd favourites Jack Norton and a strong field of seasoned competitors who know First Point inside out.

The future of longboarding is also shining bright, with junior standouts already locking in their spots in the Junior age divisions as well as mostly professional level divisions like the Old Mal, Logger Pro and the WSL Noosa Longboard Pro. Names like Lennix Currie, Ryder Worthington, Jack Tyro, Mia Waite, Nyjah Duazo & 13 yr old Hunter Williams represent the next generation of talent. Fearless, creative and deeply connected to the culture of the sport.

Then, how can we forget the heroes of yesteryear, still pushing the boundaries of whats possible on a surfboard in their elder years. Now in his 40’s, former world champion Josh Constable will be back taking the lineup in multiple divisions as well as with his up and coming son Jive in the Family Challenge. Way up in the O70’s the usual suspects like multi-Aussie titles winner, Albie Curtis and 2025 winner Jon Lavers will be there again.

Seeing this mix of world champions, international stars, local legends, rising juniors and elder statesmen is exactly what the Noosa Festival of Surfing is about. It’s a celebration of surfing across generations, styles and skill levels, all coming together in one iconic location.
With entries continuing to roll in, 2026 is shaping up to be one of the strongest fields in the Festival’s 35-year history.
