HP Longboard & Twin Fin Events presented by FCS

The Noosa Festival of Surfing is thrilled to announce FCS as the official naming rights partner for the highly anticipated HP Longboard and Twin Fin Events. The partnership between NFOS and FCS marks a significant milestone in the world of surfing, uniting a powerhouse surf brand with a powerhouse surf event dedicated to innovation, performance, and the love of the ocean.

FCS, a renowned leader in surfboard fin technology and accessories, brings decades of expertise and passion for the sport to this partnership. Their commitment to pushing the boundaries of design aligns perfectly with the ethos of the HP Longboard which celebrates traditional and progressive surfing styles. The Twin Fin is another event growing in popularity and aligns well with FCS who have been behind the proression and evolution of surfboard fins since the 80’s when the average quiver was made up of boards transitioning from glass in fins to the more modern pop-in/pop-out style setup.

“We are excited to partner with FCS for the HP Longboard and Twin Fin Events,” said Josh Allen, Event Director at The Noosa Festival of Surfing. “Their reputation for quality and innovation in surfboard accessories makes them the ideal collaborator as we continue to elevate these events to new heights. We are also stoked to bring in such a household name when it comes to the surf industry. It’s always nice to feel the love from endemic brands like FCS who still see value in supporting surf events such as this.”

The HP Longboard already has a decent field on both the mens and womens side of the draw. With $3,000 prize money on the line, we expect competition to be fierce.

The Twin Fin Event continues to rise and since its inception in 2021, it has gone from a novelty division to one of the most loved among by competitors and spectators.
