Mixing of the Waters & Paddle Out

Join Festival Chairman John Finlay and friends for the traditional mixing of the water ceremony on Saturday 9th March from 4:30pm on Noosa Main Beach.

The traditional mixing of the water ceremony dates back several decades in the Festival and is a popular event that people from every corner of the globe can participate.

Representatives from all over the world will converge on Noosa beach, placing a vile of water from their home beach in a custom made wooden bowl celebrating unity and harmony.

Followed by the mixing of the waters ceremony, we will continue with our annual paddle out led by the most winningest competitor in the Festivals history, Peppie Simpson.

The event starts at 4:30pm sharp, don’t be late.
