Reigning World Champion Josh Constable set the scene for an awesome battle this afternoon when the Odyssey 20/20 Men’s Pro Semi Finals take place around 1.30pm. Constable only caught two waves in his quarter final this morning and that is all the natural footer needed! He posted a 9.33 for his first wave, and then...

Where is Joel?
03/07/2007 07:15 AM
|
Rumours abound - so lets set the record straight. The good news is Joel is here in Noosa. The bad news is he wasn't in time for his Noserider heat, so he's out.
The good news about that is his scratching opened the door to the next reserve in line... the World Champion Josh Constable. And this news is backed up by a highly contestable Round 1 session today seeing all the top seeds making it through to the next round.
Joel Tudor will be competing at the Festival in a couple of events still to be confirmed. One possiblity is the Retro. |

Running Order

(Read: 1204)
|
| All competitors please note registration is today (Monday) from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Noosa Heads SLSC. Following registration, Alan Atkins, the contest director, will outline the running order for the competition. At this stage, after considering the conditions, Alan will tonight lock in the first two days of competition i.e. Tuesday and Wednesday. The running order for Thursday is still possibly subject to change - however, we can definitely say to all those Mums and Dads out there worried about their kids' time off from school - all "under age" divisions will not begin before Thursday. For all the up to date info, please be at the Noosa Heads SLSC tonight. |
