Join Ted’s Cameras and Nikon for a hands on surf and outdoor photography workshop as part of the Noosa Festival of Surfing. This workshop is split into 2 separate sessions, allowing participants to focus on different styles of coastal photography. Attendees will have the opportunity to trial Nikon Cameras and Lenses while receiving practical guidance from Ted’s & Nikon staff.
What You’ll Learn
Morning Photo Walk – Coastal & Landscape Photography
- Seascape, surfscape and nature photography techniques
- How to compose striking coastal landscapes
- Working confidently with natural light and changing conditions
- Camera settings for outdoor and landscape photography
Afternoon Session – Dog Surf Photography
- Surf and action photography fundamentals
- Capturing movement, timing and peak action
- Autofocus modes and burst shooting techniques
- Choosing the right lens for fast-paced surf environments
Whether you’re a beginner looking to build confidence or an enthusiast wanting to sharpen your action skills, this workshop delivers practical knowledge you can use immediately.
