Piano on the Point
Prepare for a world-first entertainment experience as the Noosa Festival of Surfing unveils Piano on the Point. An unforgettable afternoon and evening where live music, ocean breeze and barefoot luxury collide.
On Thursday 19th March, Noosa Main Beach’s iconic Festival Beach Bar will undergo a stunning transformation. Fresh off the Tracey Naughton hosted Surf Fest Mini Markets, the space will shift gears at 3pm, becoming an open-air Piano Bar on the sand. The only one of its kind anywhere in the world.
Set directly on the shoreline with panoramic views of Laguna Bay, the Noosa Beach Bar isn’t just any bar, it’s Australia’s only fully licensed bar located on a sand, serving ice-cold beer on tap, handcrafted cocktails, and a curated selection of premium wines. Styled with coastal-luxe furnishings reminiscent of a European or Balinese beach club, it’s the perfect setting for a golden afternoon that melts into a magical twilight show.
At the heart of the event will sit a grand piano placed right in the middle of the beach bar, surrounded 360 degrees by festival-goers. As the pianist performs with waves lapping metres away and the sun sinking behind Noosa’s famed points, guests will be immersed in a truly cinematic atmosphere, equal parts laid-back and breathtaking.
Expect an evening of connection, sunset tones, and good vibes as music floats across the water and the beach bar comes alive with community energy. Pair it with a chilled drink, settle into the luxe seating, and soak up a one-night-only event that captures the spirit of Noosa in the most spectacular way.
This event is expected to be extremely popular, and with limited space around the piano stage, we strongly encourage arriving early to secure your spot on the dance floor!
